This is my favourite picture that I have taken. I wanted to produce somewhat of an Indie and vintage picture with the Walkman as a prop. The grain effect on the effect gives it a sense of vintage and old vibes with high contrasts on the dark colours.

This is the setting I have used on my camera to take these pictures making the pictures seem quite dark due to the terrain of the trees covering the sunlight and also limiting the amount of whiteness on the camera with the white balance.

 I thought about trying to explore with
 natural lighting from the outside but 
also from my phone. You can see from the 
yellow lighting from the top of his 
forehead.

This is how we were planning my photo and I was
guiding the person on where to shine the light at.

You can see that there's some light shinning
on the wall of the side and some on his eyes.

This is the setting I have used for these pictures

Moving pictures

This is my favourite picture that I have taken and I
wanted my model to be moving her head up and down
and spinning her head as well. This gives a nice hair effect
 that is floating in the air capturing the moment.

This is the setting I have captured these picture with the moving of her hair at with a shutter speed of
1/4000.

This is also an interesting picture with her
hair up in the air. Also I like the effect and wave
that her hair is going at.

For my next setting of my photo, I changed my shutter speed to 1/2500.

The change of setting on the camera enabled the background
to be lighter and I like the way that her hair came out wrapped around the top of her face.

I got my model to turn around so we can see the waves
of her hair from the back as she moves her faces sideways.

In my opinion, I really like the way that her hair
hovers but also wraps around nicely in front of her face.

For this picture, I got my model to move her head up and down
and I was able to get this effect with her hair
floating up in the air.

For these next pictures, I have taken them in the dark with this setting on the camera.

For these pictures, I got my model to hold a flamingo and move it sideways
and I was able to capture a bit of movement with the blurred effect from the flamingo.

Also with these picture, I used the flashlight on my phone to see the subject and flamingo.

This was a bit of a failed attempt with the movement of the flamingo.
An improvement with these photos, maybe next time I should try
to take the picture with bit more lighting to see it bit more clearly.

FOCUSING BASICS

             What made this picture work really is because of colour and 

                tone that matches well with the leaves and his skin colour.

              For these series of pictures with the leaves on the ground are taken 

                with my model laying on the grass and I stood on top of him trying 

                  to capture the angles. Before I took the pictures, I have arranged 

             the leaves in a way that it goes around his body and leaves some gap.  

                  Also, I zoom in and out trying to focus on key parts of his body.

This is the setting I have used for this particular
photo that I took that I like. I tried to blur
out the back but the lowest aperture was 5.6
for the focus.

The flower in his mouth was sort of blurred but the
rest of the picture has been focused.

In this picture, his hands were quite focused compare to
the background and the flowers in his mouth

Later on I decided to get my jumper and block
some of the lighting and make it a bit dark letting
the natural light shine from the top. I was able
to somewhat blur out the background of the
leaves and focus on him. 

This is the first picture I took where I tried to blur out the leaves
and focus on my model. However, the lighting was
too strong on one of the side
of his face. 

   With this picture I tried to focus on the yellow flower
and tried to blur out the background. However, with the
camera lens that we have, we are limited to a certain amount of
focus with the lowest aperture focus of 3.5. 

This is the setting I have used next to try and match the
lighting and darkness from the trees. This time I was able to
get the lowest focus aperture is 3.5 which was hard to
 get due to the lighting.
